Dear Mike,
It's the start to another beautiful, amazing, perfect and gorgeous day. I hope we shall endeavor to get at the marrow of life.
Perhaps I could focus on these questions today:
1) What could I notice today that I haven’t noticed before?
2) What would I say, do or be if today was my last day alive?
Perhaps I could notice texture.
If today were to be the last day alive I would be grateful that I have been so loved by my kids, my mom, my friends, random kind people. I would be grateful for the opportunity to be the difference, to be a force of goodness. I would be grateful for all the times that I made the right choice.
It's 5 a.m. and I have to go wash the dishes. It's such a precious morning.
Felix is an aspiring writer. He's always reaching out for my opinion:
The orange sunset dipping into the horizon attempting to color my pale mind, my breath was long and dry, anyone near a few steps away could hear them.
As I walked through the entrance gate, the traffic was already locked right outside the gate.
Hoots and shouts from impatient commuters, conductors shrieking at the top of their voice, angry drivers swearing and cursing with their heads sticking out of the windows and their heads clenched wickedly in the air.
…
My response:
I like the vivid delirium here.

Mindful meditation:
Inhale...
I am happy with who I am.
Exhale...
I am happy with what I have.
I'm making strides towards discomfort. I'm evolving to becoming something different.
2 Year Game Plan:
Study.com offer 2 college classes at $200.
My plan will be to study the subject completely then simply sign up to take the test.
First up Social Psychology and American Literature.
I will sign up with Study.com in July to test and get the credits for them. In two years I will have an arsenal of college credits under my belt when I apply to various master's programs in psychology.
I just had a very engaging conversation with my bus driver this morning. I talked to him about everything that I had been talking to you about.
Life is such an amazing journey. I'm grateful that I'm sufficient, like I have enough money to get by. I'm grateful for a painful past. I'm grateful for a hopeful future. I'm grateful for the adventure of the daily grind.
Mr. Knight, Thurgood Marshall High School Principal agreed to a redo on the interview. He was so good hearted about it. I like him.
My response:
Hi Patrick,
This piece gives me a feeling of serenity and contemplation. The amber and turquoise color choice is a good combination. The visual texture of stained glass is stunning. The focal point of the geode and the person sitting in a lotus position is nicely centered. I love the avocado green in the geode and shadow and empty space between the arm and the body. Tilt of the head adds visual interest. I like the lines and balance of the entire piece. It would go well in a meditation temple.

In class today a student from Mr. Pujari's class said that I got him suspended for three days. I said that he got himself suspended by his choice of behavior and that being in high school means learning how to accept responsibility.
I'm researching my article today: Why Black America Should Aspire to Become High School Principal.
