Hi. I'm drinking my one beer. And I'm trying to have cordial and friendly relations with my mother. So maybe I'm just texting her once a day. Today was an amazing day Mike. The kids at school loved me so much. They said that I'm so cool and amazing because I ride a scooter and that I cleaned their classroom and that I'm so chill. They literally wanted me to be there full-time teacher. If I was there full-time teacher then I would have real responsibilities and perhaps I wouldn't be so chill. Who knows? So I think about you and our conversation. I think about us and our interactions through texting. And I think about the equation. The equation of who I am versus who you are. So I'm walking down the path of youtubing and vlogging and podcasting. So it comes back to you because of the things that you said to me.

Dear Mike, Hey for all the time that has transpired I still think of you everyday. Your friendship and acceptance is my aspiration.   Just to be worthy. Yeah.  There are a lot of warts. But the intention. It's morning.  5:24 a.m.  I've been busy outlining my syllabus for 8th grade ELA.  Estimated class size 35.   Fun.  I will take inner city.  Broken as fuck because who isn't? My every thought when I think of you is that I love you.   From a glimmer.  A blink of an eye.  It's there.  But why?  Why so much effort?  Why?

I got drenched this morning walking from the bus stop to my job.   That's what I get for not believing in umbrellas. Luckily there was a fellow student walking in the same direction who saved me from the torrential downpour.   I love rain on a summer day.   It's like playing with puppies. It just renews your spirit. Every breath you take is fresh. And you're just in the midst of nature and if you close your eyes there's is serenity. The world is changed. Or just the way that experience the world is new and changed. The slate of old scores and past resentments is wiped clean. And you're just at that moment  everything.

Dear Mike, I caught the city bus to Dunbar High School yesterday.  Shawn the bus driver seemed out of it.  He was groggy.  Perhaps he got not enough sleep.  I told him that I had just watched the animated Adams Family and was delighted by the word play embedded in the conversations of the characters.  It's so immensely clever.   And also I just watched the movie Dora The Explorer.  It's so adorable.  I remember watching Dora, the cartoons when my kids were little.  I asked Shawn if he has ever seen Dora The Explorer cartoons with his kids when they were little?  He said...no.  I said it was because he was culturally deficit, illiterate and doesn't know anything.   It's like that with us.  I'm like the big sister that Shawn is so grateful he never had, though I adoringly tell him that we should have been related.   Our conversation continued with me telling Shawn of how horrible Ohio weather is.  Fr...
